1:32 Scale slot car from FLY Car Model of the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4×4 as based on the prototype that competed in the 1992 Monte Carlo Rally, driven by Miki Biasion in the Autoglass Sapphire.
This model is fitted with a powerful motor and excellent running characteristics, due to its Four-Wheel-Drive system replicating the real car. It is compatible with most analogue track systems including Scalextric.

Historical Background
While designed as a family saloon car the Sierra Sapphire took on a whole new purpose in its Cosworth guise. Fitted with for wheel drive and high-powered Turbo engine the car lent itself to be used in international rallying. Here we see it as the Autoglass sponsored car that Francois Delecour raced in the 1992 Monte Carlo Rally. This wonderfully detailed slot car model features an inline motor rated at 18k rpm.
