This is the BMW 3.5CSL in Group 5 guise with its wide arches and spoilers. This is the black factory car the raced at Le Mans in 1976 driven by Sam Posey, Harald Grohs and Hughes de Fierlant. This wonderfully detailed 1/32nd scale slot car also features many high-end racing components and comes with a separate angle-winder mount fitted with a motor rated at 20.5k rpm.
Driving for BMW / Schnitzer Motorsport at the 1976 24 Hours of Le Mans, Dieter Quester, Albrecht Krebs, and Alain Peltier delivered a determined performance against a highly competitive field but were forced to retire around the 12th hour due to an engine fire.
