The GT-R NISMO GT3 is a race-prepared version of the legendary GT-R, reworked to FIA GT3 specifications. By 2019 it had received updates to improve weight distribution, performance, and handling including a repositioned engine, revised suspension, and optimised aerodynamics.
At the 2019 Fuji 500 km, car No. 33 was entered by the X Works team. During qualifying it achieved a solid starting position among strong competition.
