The Porsche 917 was first seen at Le Mans in Longtail form at the test sessions in late March 1969. Car number 46 was driven by the German Rolf Stommelen who recorded the fastest lap in this 5 litre machine. This is a limited edition resin model featuring a new ABS chassis design and must be considered as being highly desirable to collectors of slot cars that appeared at Le Mans.
